Defender Security E 2457 Strike Plate, 2-1/4 In L, Steel, Satin Nickel

A strike plate is the metal component on your door frame that receives the latch bolt from your door knob or lock, keeping your door securely closed and aligned. The Defender Security E 2457 strike plate is a steel replacement designed to fit most residential interior and exterior doors, eliminating door slop, chatter, and misalignment that can weaken security and cause wear over time.

Whether you're replacing a worn strike plate or installing new hardware, this satin nickel-finished plate provides a durable, corrosion-resistant solution that works with standard door frames and locking mechanisms. The adjustable tabs help ensure proper latching alignment.
