Ektb 8 Ft. Belt Drive Garage Door Tube Rail Extension Kit

The Genie EKTB is a tube rail belt extension kit designed to upgrade your Genie SilentMax 550 belt drive garage door opener system to accommodate 8-foot-tall garage doors. If your garage door opener was originally set up for standard 7-foot doors, this extension kit allows you to extend the rail system to handle the additional height, enabling your opener to fully open and close doors that measure 8 feet high.

This extension kit solves the problem of having a garage door opener that cannot adequately lift taller-than-standard doors. Whether you have a residential garage with higher ceilings or a commercial facility requiring larger door access, this kit provides a straightforward way to adapt your existing Genie belt drive system without replacing the entire opener.
